What is ABA?

OUR MISSION

ABA’s mission is to unite, empower, and uplift the black community to utilize skills and resources within our community to make a world that is safer for us, offers more opportunities, and holds multiple paths to success.

OUR GOALS

Each member of ABA plays a role in accomplishing our 3 main goals:

  • Offering members of our community a variety of constructive ways to invest in the betterment of themselves, and the black community at large.

  • Unifying our community in a way such that our people love, support, and look out for one another; by helping our people rise to positions of influence, support our businesses, and make the most of opportunities, we can shape and improve the world around us.

WHAT WE DO

  • Legal:

    • We suggest and draft bills and portions of bills to local, state, and national government

    • We research new/proposed bills to be voted on, and explain them without legal jargon for the community to understand more easily

    • We help remind community to vote on issues when elections roll around so we can vote more consistently, and make an informed vote

  • Political:

    • We survey the community to determine issues that matter most to us, and what solutions we find most favorable
